How to install the add-in in Excel

Create a folder and copy the manifest file
Create a folder like
C:\MNI-Addinand copymanifest.prod.xmlinto it.If IT gives you a network folder, use that folder instead.

Share the folder (if needed)
Right-click the folder → Properties → Sharing → Advanced Sharing → check Share this folder.
Give at least Read permission to your Windows user. Note the shared path (example:
\\YOUR-PC\MNI-Addin). - 3
Add the shared path as a trusted catalog in Excel
Open Excel → File → Options → Trust Center → Trust Center Settings → Trusted Add-in Catalogs.
Paste your shared path (example:
\\YOUR-PC\MNI-Addin) and click Add catalog. Enable the option to show add-ins from this catalog in the menu. - 4
Close and reopen Excel
Completely close Excel and open it again so the new add-in catalog is loaded.

Add MNI Markets from Shared Folder
Go to Home → Add-ins → Advanced... → Shared Folder.
Select MNI Markets and click Add.

Open Office on the web
Go to Office on the web and open an Excel workbook in your browser.

Open Add-ins settings
In Excel on the web, go to Home → Add-ins → Advanced....

Upload the manifest
Select Upload My Add-in, choose your downloaded
manifest.prod.xml, and upload. - 4
Confirm the add-in appears
Verify the MNI Markets command appears in the ribbon and open the task pane.
Currently not supported
Microsft does not support sideloading add-ins on Mac. We are working on publishing the add-in to the Microsoft Add-in Marketplace. In the meantime, you can use the add-in on Excel on the web.
